Commissions

Commissioning an artist is a very personal and individual process that can be very different for each client. Creating a piece of art that you will treasure and love for years to come.

If possible, I like to be able to travel and take my own photos to really create that unique one-off art piece. Also, it can help to get a feel of character and personality.

Sadly, this is not always possible. So, I ask for a high-quality clear photograph to work from. If you are using a professional photograph, permission in writing to use the photograph must be supplied by the copyright owner.

Once the commission is accepted the next step is to decide on the size of your painting and the background colour.

Pricing can vary depending on the complexity and requirements of your individual commission.

A deposit of 25% is required to secure your timeslot in my diary (please note this is not refundable) and will go towards your balance of your painting.

Once the painting is complete and you are happy with it, full payment will be taken before the painting can be sent. The painting will be mounted to standard frame size so as you can easily have it framed.

All paintings are sent extremely securely wrapped, where possible using recycled cardboard.
